What is a Dementia Friendly Town?

In its simplest form a Dementia Friendly Town is a community that is working together holistically to support, welcome, encourage, and empower people (and their families) who have been diagnosed with Dementia or a Dementia related illness.

To quote from the Dementia Friendly website - 'People living with dementia rely on small business and organisations for a range of services, they deserve a positive customer experience.'
